We didn't set out to run a business. We set out to build the kind of home we'd want our own parents to live in.
Nobel Adult Family Home was founded with a simple idea: that every person deserves to be known by name, listened to, and cared for in a real home — not a building.
Ten years ago, our family looked at how senior care was being delivered in big facilities and decided we could do something different. Something smaller. Something where caregivers know what your mother takes in her coffee, what your father's favorite hymn is, and what makes them light up.
Since 2016, we've welcomed families from across Snohomish County into our home. Many of the people we care for stay with us until the end of their lives — surrounded by familiar faces.
We believe care plans aren't paperwork. They're agreements — between us, the people we care for, and their families — about how each day should feel.
That means we ask. About bedtime routines. About foods that bring comfort and foods that don't. About the music that plays when memory fades. About the spouse who passed, the grandchild who calls on Sundays, the dog whose photo sits on the nightstand.
And then we build the days around those answers. Not the other way around.
Our caregiving team isn't a rotation of strangers. They're the steady, familiar faces our neighbors see every day — and many have been with us for years.
